Ericson Manufacturing, industry leader in electrical safety products has taken the initiative to restructure internal customer facing positions within its Management, Sales, Customer Service and Marketing Departments. As Ericson continues positioning itself as the National Leader of Temporary Power and Lighting, the potential for international growth is also an opportunity Ericson is closely evaluating. In addition to these changes, an overall culture shift to the personnel is taking place, as the 98 year old company brings forth a new generation of Ericson’s to run the family business.
Ericson welcomes Interim President Chris Jaskiewicz to the organization with over 20 years’ experience as an Electrical Contractor. Chris’ role is to strategically structure and position the organization for success. John Ericson III will be stepping into the role of President once Chris’ support concludes. Chris joined in April of 2016.
Earlier in 2016, Dan Ericson was promoted to Director of Sales, and now reports to Chris Jaskiewicz. Dan began his full-time career at Ericson as a Customer Service Representative in 2001. After a year inside, Dan transitioned to various sales roles in the field including Regional Sales Manager and National Business Development Manager. Dan now leads the team of Business Development Managers (formerly Regional Sales Managers), a National Distribution Manager, a Government Accounts Manager and the Customer Service team in providing technical and sales support to our national network of Electrical Manufacturers’ representatives.
To support sales efforts in the southeast region, Chris Amella has joined Ericson as Business Development Manager (previously Regional Sales Manager/s). Chris joins Ericson with 25+ years of sales experience. Prior to joining Ericson, Chris was a Regional Sales Manager at Louisville Ladder Corporation, a global industry-leading manufacturer of high quality aluminum, fiberglass and wood Step and Extension Ladders for consumer and professional applications worldwide. He is well versed in working for manufacturers and managing the Sales Rep and Distribution channels.
In mid-May Ericson was delighted to bring on a new Marketing Manager, Monica Gasbarre. Prior to joining Ericson, Monica was the Global Marketing & Communications Manager at Valtronic handling both national and international marketing activities for the Medical Device industry. Her experience in content marketing, corporate branding, and the use of inbound/outbound marketing for lead generation will assist in increased brand awareness and drive sales. Monica will report directly to Dan Ericson, Director of Sales.
Mike Martucci has been added to the Sales Support as Inside Business Development Manager. Prior to joining Ericson, Mike spent several years at TPC Wire & Cable as an Inside Sales Representative. Mike will report directly to Chris Ericson, Manager of Customer Service.
As a Sales Data Entry Clerk, Kathleen Corkrean joins our team! She will be responsible for receiving and processing incoming orders. In addition to order entry, Kathleen will assist with updating our customer and contact databases.
Lastly, Customer Service Representative, Kevin Farrell has joined Ericson with prior years of experience in a customer service support role. Kevin will be responsible for serving customers by providing product information and resolving customer issues that may arise.
Kathleen and Kevin will both report directly to Chris Ericson.

By restructuring management down the chain of command to customer service, our goals align directly with our sales strategy bringing top support to our distributor and representative markets. In the efforts to bring awareness to Ericson’s portfolio of products to the industry, our strategy also extends further in expanding our business globally”.
Ericson was selected to participate in the 2016 Ohio Export Internship Program. The program is designed for companies that are looking to export for the first time or to improve their current export initiatives. The program matched Ericson with Mohamed Mosbah, a highly motivated student from The Ohio State University who has taken export-focused coursework along with studies in Operations and Logistics Management. This exciting internship program offers a mutually beneficial relationship to students and companies alike by providing real-world experiences where both can learn and grow.
